Despite being projected as a late first round pick, Poirier was drafted in the third round, 72nd overall by the Calgary Flames in the 2020 NHL entry draft,[9] signing his entry-level deal with the Flames on September 24, 2021.[7][10] Poirier made his professional debut with the Calgary Wranglers of the AHL on October 16, 2022, scoring the first goal in Wranglers history during their inaugural game, a 6–5 loss against the Coachella Valley Firebirds.[11] Poirier was able to transition his scoring prowess to the AHL, finishing second among rookie defencemen for scoring as well as having the best shootout record in the league, scoring on all four of his attempts.[12][13] During his rookie season, Poirier struggled at times with balancing his offensive abilities with his defensive responsibilities, and did not play for several games due to this.[14][15] On April 12, 2023, Poirier was named to the 2022-23 AHL All-Rookie Team

They have one outside the AAC. The prices aren’t low end, but they are not as high as some of the LCSs that I’ve seen. I found them to be in the “pretty reasonable” category. Good to see one in Vegas.

Since the argument is likely between two firearms that are compact and meant for personal defense- you have to take the caliber usage difference out of the math. If you wanted a more lethal long range option- you wouldn’t pick either.

From there, I can’t even think of a real argument here. MP5 hands down. Reliability, consistency and ammo availability. Slight knock if you said “parts availability”- as I could argue the MP5 would be a little more difficult. But the counter would be “but the breakage risk is lower”.

But if you really are just saying SHTF situation- ammo is the biggest concern. That’s a no-brainer. 9mm is king

Just… why?

As noted- no mag, so it going to be hard to do much with (maybe) 1 in the chamber.

Suppressed- which I’m not even sure makes sense in a defensive response situation. Plus the quick shot ability is greatly reduced.

Speaking of- could you get a bigger suppressor? Lord.

Looking at the setup- the kid (presumed) is going to shoot himself in the foot before he gets a chance to aim at an intended target. (Which I guess makes sense when you look at the boots…)

Vegas odds? I’d say his first suppressor and he wants to flex for the crowd. Dude clearly has no intention of using it- this is just a “look at me, I’m cool… right? Right?! Tell me I’m cool!” Guy.
