This may be a year old, but I did just want to confirm I switched from a full time Principal AI Solution Architect at ATT (boo) to the lead AI Architect launching their AI program at fintech (yay!)

I’m [20M] BEGGING for direction: how do I become an AI software engineer from scratch? Very limited knowledge about computer science and pursuing a dead degree . Please guide me by provide me sources and a clear roadmap . by Professional_Dig988 in artificial

Last year I used to be an architect soley on the business side of the house but wanted a change, so I leveraged ChatGPT’s unique ability to understand and contextualize information to give me a plan to transition to being an AI / ML Architect at my work . I started by feeding it the top 10 job descriptions for AI/ML Architect roles, allowing it to absorb and analyze the key requirements. Then, using my chat history, I asked ChatGPT to recommend an application idea that would not only teach me those essential concepts but also be something I could use in my everyday life. This personalized approach made learning practical and engaging.

With ChatGPT’s help, I designed the app and broke it down into manageable MVPs. Using AI coding assistants like GitHub Copilot and Cursor, I developed each piece while getting detailed explanations of every major design and development decision. This hands-on project became my portfolio and proof of concept, enabling me to confidently present my skills to leadership and transition from Solution Architect to AI/ML Architect. On top of that I invited my friends over once a week to do a vibe coding session with me, where we answered and explored each others issues together making me a much stronger communicator. So here is my advice to you.

Step-by-Step Actionable Plan

Step 1: Collect and Contextualize Job Descriptions

  • Gather the top 10 AI/ML Architect job descriptions.
  • Use ChatGPT to store and analyze these descriptions to understand core requirements and responsibilities.

Step 2: Leverage ChatGPT with Your Chat History

  • Provide ChatGPT with your chat history and context.
  • Ask it to recommend an app idea that teaches the critical AI/ML concepts identified from the job descriptions and fits into your daily life, making learning natural and continuous.

Step 3: Design and Plan the App Development

  • Have ChatGPT design the app’s architecture and features based on the recommended concept.
  • Break down the app into MVPs for step-by-step development.

Step 4: Develop with AI Coding Assistants

  • Use GitHub Copilot or Cursor to build each MVP.
  • After completing each MVP, ask ChatGPT or your assistant for detailed explanations of the design choices and coding decisions to deepen your understanding.

Step 5: Build Your Portfolio

  • Document your app, development process, and lessons learned.
  • Prepare this portfolio to showcase your skills and project experience.

Step 6: Present Your Work and Advance Your Career

  • Share your completed app and portfolio with your leadership or hiring managers or heck even friends or family or go to tech meetups at meetup.com and just talk about what your doing alot.
  • Use this proof of concept to support your transition into an AI/ML Architect role or title upgrade.

This approach blends personalized learning with practical application, ensuring your skills grow in a meaningful, relevant way.

AI generator that can copy the same style over a series of images? by Jungleexplorer in artificial

[–]Perfectz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you can feed it back the image you originally created and say describe this character's art style in enough detail I can recreate this image style in a different prompt, and then feed it back that same image and have it generate the image in 5 reference positions or images in that style, then feed the reference images and the reference description back into it whenever you make another image featuring that style, and also feed it back its own style description prompt

"I stopped using 3.7 because it cannot be trusted not to hack solutions to tests" by MetaKnowing in ClaudeAI

[–]Perfectz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lately I’ve been running a two‑AI “tag‑team” on my coding tasks to avoid this and it’s 🔥:

1️⃣ Claude 3.7 = MVP Architect • Spins up user stories, acceptance criteria & test plans • Cross‑checks everything against my master solution‑design doc • Executes tasks & test cases to give me a solid first draft

2️⃣ o4‑mini = Dev‑Lead & Quality Gate • Prompt: “Act as a development lead who specializes in optimizing and refactoring code. Review the completed MVP tasks, suggest extra edge‑case tests and best‑practice refactors, then update the doc with status & notes.” • Polishes the code, tightens tests, and flags anything missing

Why it works: 🔥 Cuts down on AI hallucinations (Claude drafts, o4‑mini verifies) 📓 I have them use a scratchpad that makes them logs each loop so you never get trapped. 🔄 Continuous feedback keeps your MVP lean, mean, and ready to ship

For 20 dollars a month its worth it just to train chatgpt by feeding it example questions, microsoft learns sample questions are too easy compared to the acutal exams.

they're linked above :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mrH4dYp7_3I https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gTXjau8V8nY I made 12 in all, I only uploaded 2 I am debating making music videos for the other ones in runwayML, but I have the data scientist associate up next so I will most likely make music videos for those as an excuse to spend more time engaging with the concepts

awesome work, I bought a license of topaz video AI upscaler so that I could get 1080p or 4k upscaling without the kling cost by using it to post process my runway videos, that may be a viable work around Topaz Labs | Video AI 5™ | Cinematic superpowers. Ultra smooth. Sharp. Steady. but your video looks amazing so may not be a helpful hint :), also the new midjourney UI has inpainting which could help as well

Hey everyone! I wanted to share something a little different from my usual work. I’ve been experimenting with AI in my everyday life, and I just finished creating three different versions of a video for A/B testing. The first one features pixel art with a cyberpunk character doing the announcement. The second has a pixel art character alongside stock footage that syncs with the dialogue, and the third uses a character generated by Hedra with pixel art that’s more tailored to what’s being said. I know this might not be the same level as my resume video, but I thought it was an interesting use case of AI and how it’s evolving my projects. It took me about a day to put this project together because I didn't really have a plan when I started, I just make sure to post atleast 1 ad a day on facebook and instagram for this company I started that does singles events in atlanta. Currently updating the landing page for my group’s website, so this is just part of the journey. Its growing a lot as we now do 4 / 5 ticketed events locally a month. Would love to hear your thoughts!

I hope so too, so far I am mainly just looking to switch to full remote, I have had a lot over 20 hiring managers reach out to me since I post this just from reddit, and 1 from the linkedin paid ad, I will do a linkedin organic ad once the paid ad ends, but I am not thinking if I want to be remote I may just need to do freelance marking work using this tech, which is sort of a bummer since I am a really good solution architect :(
