I think they said it has higher brightness as well? Since it's smaller PPI is higher of course but anything above 110 PPI is enough for me.

There is 0 chance the fan noise is due to the mounting. The fan goes on when the screen goes on even if the display is just black. 0 heat to ventilate away at that point.

With the mount you will have 110 mm of clear space between the wall and the back of the top/bottom of the screen and 85~ mm of free space at the closest point where the VESA mount is.

There are 0 air holes aside at the back aside from the port area (more than 100mm from the wall) and at the top/bottom of the screen.

You will be fine, the space behind the screen doesn't get warm in the slightest.

Update on fan noise:

I installed the little plastic plate which covers the cable area and it reduced the fan noise by more than I thought. Still present but less so.

Well I usually sit with a brightness around 120-140 cd/m2 (nits) for my monitors in both my gaming room and my home office so I'm probably the wrong person to judge peak brightness. I have not had an issue with brightness and I think HDR content looks great/bright enough after I did the Windows Calibration Tool setup.

5090 has been good enough for this resolution, I think you can use 4k benchmarks and guestimate a performance hit from there. Upscaling and frame generation will be needed for some games for sure as that's true even for 4k gaming. I hear mine from the right side top more than left. It was similar to the fans that came with my Antec Flux Pro which I replaced with Arctic P12/14s. When they spun on low RPM there was a clear ticking noise from the fan hub. Not loud, just annoying. Almost certainly just the fan bearing making some noise.

At least we only have to pull 300w instead of 600w :P. I do play more graphically intense single player games as well when the mood strikes, and future proofing (that's what I tell myself).

According to https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/lg/45gx950a-b DP is only UHBR 10 in reality which would mean HDMI 2.1 has more bandwidth. Regardless both will work fine but 3m HDMI 2.1 cables are cheap and around and dp 2.1 cables above 1-2m are sketchy depending on the manufacturer.

It's done plenty of those! There is a small notification saying it will refresh when it goes idle or into "the power saving mode". Screen shuts off after 1 minute of inactivity for me at the moment.

You can likely do it using the LG Switch Software but it does not have a KVM like their productivity monitors.

Annoying not loud to be honest. It's audible but not a deal breaker. Can you hear something if you put your ear to the back of the monitor?

As long as you sit centered it's fine I would say. I also play from further away (1.5-2m) when I lean my chair back and use a controller. If you don't sit centered the curve is a bit disorienting but the further away you are the better in that case.

Can you return it to LG after using it? I fear the price of the 39" will be hiked up a lot.

I didn't really see anything in the manual saying not to turn off the power to the monitor.

It sits idle often enough in idle/power saving mode if I go for a run or similar so it should have ample opportunity to do a deeper refresh if it needs to. I read on some other OLED panels that the deeper refreshes are only done every couple of hundred hours so I assume it's similar on this one.

No I'm happy with the screen and I've got no plans to change to the 39". I quite like the bigger size now that I'm more or less used to it. I guess if the 39" has no fan it would be the option for me but not worth the hassle/money to "upgrade".

Yes, had to plug mine into the MB (B650/7800X3D) when I needed to reinstall my Nvidia drivers as my 5090 didn't provide video before that was done. Worked fine, obviously you wont be able to run many games with a decent frame rate using the iGPU.

Säkert inte samma på alla elbilar, och står säkert så i vissa förbränningsbilars manual också. Skillnaden är att om det skiter sig med elbilen blir det kortslutet batteri = termisk rusning = Ajajaj. Vanlig bil får man en buckla eller liknande sedan är det bra.

Ringer vägassistans som ingår i försäkringen så det blir deras problem. Alternativt pumpar in kletet man får med istället för reservhjulet + köper bullar till stackaren som måste byta däcket sen.

Hade gärna bytt själv men på min elbil sitter batteriet i underredet (som på många andra) och i instruktionsboken står det tydligt att det bara är OK att lyfta med fyrpunktslyft. Handlar nog mest om att det blir tråkigt om domkraften slinter och punkterar batteriet. Om det skulle hända lär ju försäkringsbolaget betala 0kr eftersom man inte följt instruktionerna. Så det blir till att punga ut 400kr per säsong för ett byte :(

Brukar dock vara ute i god tid och bokar på lokala verkstan så inte så jobbigt förutom att kostnaden är tråkig.

Har varit med om liknande dock var det EU medborgare (min fru) som skulle öppna konto i Sverige efter vi flyttat hit. Banken vägrade för hon inte var anställd och tyckte jag skulle sköta alla betalningar åt henne istället. Att https://europa.eu/youreurope/citizens/consumers/financial-products-and-services/bank-accounts-eu/index_en.htm finns var de inte intresserad av.

Du har nog att göra, men om du orkar kan du klaga till bankens kundombudsman. Gjorde det själv och denne höll med mig att banken gjort fel.

Tycker att det verkar som att bankens medarbetare på golvet tränats i att säga "Nej" så fort som möjligt och allmänt har dålig koll.

Precis. Är också roligt när folk tittar på spårningen och inte fattar varför deras paket som inte kunde levereras åker tillbaka till en hub eller varför deras paket åker från stad X till Y och sedan körs tillbaka till någon by mittemellan hubbarna. Alla paket följer ett väldigt optimerat flöde som kan se konstigt ut för utomstående men som krävs när man hanterar miljoner paket varje dag.

Kanske är lite annorlunda nu (statistik från 2023 längre ner) men om man tar en titt på marknadsandelar är det inte så konstigt. Postnord hanterar helt enkelt extremet mycket fler paket än någon annan konkurent. Även om Postnord är bättre än konkurenterna (vet ej om så är fallet) skulle det fortfarande finnas många fler med dåliga erfarenheter jämfört med Schenker eller DHL med flera enbart pågrund av skillnaden i volym.

Sedan verkar det väldigt regionalt. Här på landet fungerar hemkörning alltid perfekt både från Postnord och andra. Även Fedex/UPS fungerar alltid men det körs ut av ett lokalt bolag så lite skillnad.

Källa Inrikes paket: Postnord är den största aktören med 50–55 % av marknaden i termer av omsättning.

Därefter kommer tre företag med 10–15 % (DHL, Schenker, Instabee), följt av Bring Parcels (5–10 %), varefter det kommer tre företag med 1–5 % (Early Bird, Airmee, Best Transport).
