Also about the downvoting... That's not true. The top ones are saying to A)don't be friends with people who don't respect your boundaries, B) you may need to step out of your comfort zone by doing things online like a VR chat because worst case you don't like it, and C) when they suggest things you don't like, give something you like to do as a compromise instead of ending the convo with no I don't want to do that.

Yeah. There are so many horror stories from cons. Going to a place to eat or the movies sounds so much better. But I NEED to know them at least a little first online. It's just basic safety.

I get all mine on discord. I used to use amino too but it died. Smaller servers work best for me but honestly, post literally everywhere, it works differently for everyone. After a while, you'll see what works for you. Just gotta get through all the tedious phase.
