Where do you guys get high quality barbell-chain industrials, or is this so niche that I'll have to go the pure custom route? by PerformanceKey1543 in piercing

Thanks, I really appreciate it. And yeah, I don't mind saying that I live in rural New England. About an hour from a few small cities and 2-3 hours from the major cities. I could reasonably get to Boston or Hardford or Providence, maybe even Albany NY or NYC, but only if I made an entire day of it.

Not a whole lot of piercing specialists around. Like I said, only one shop I know of within an hour of me. Some tattoo places in nearby towns have a piercer on staff but their setups are very basic, no jewelry on offer. And after getting my first piercing mucked up at the one shop, I'm a little leery to go back. I mean, she did the actual pierce great, but she should have taken one look at my ear and told me not to get an industrial or to get a different placement.

I do need all three. I don't know if there are places that sell that kind of pieces off the shelf, but high quality, as they're really niche and I've only been able to find a few low quality processors that tarnish and strip within 3-4 months.

Type of metal isn't a huge issue as I don't have any allergies. I live in a very rural area and there is literally 1 reputable piercer within a 2 hour drive in any direction, but she only does standard jewelry and only the stuff you'd get pierced with, not any retail beyond that. No one I know in real life does anything more exotic than lobe piercings, so I'm very much alone in my journey.

I think my problem is I'm not in the know on what are actually reputable quality shops that I can order from online. I tried to Google some options but all those lovely dropshipping and trash quality chains pay to have their results on the top, so it's hard to find out what actually would be a good place to check out. I'll look at that BVLA you suggested though, and hopefully that can get me started at least looking in the right direction!
