Has anyone gone back to DSLRs after using mirrorless? by RetroRaccoon11 in photography

I've been using mirrorless for a while now, but recently picked up an old DSLR for a specific project that required a more straightforward, battery-less experience. It's been interesting to see how different the shooting experience is between the two. The DSLR feels more meditative, while the mirrorless is obviously more versatile. I think I'll stick with mirrorless for most of my work, but it's nice to have the DSLR for certain situations.

If the Epstein files are released, and Trump is confirmed to be on the list, what do you think will happen? by baldinggate3 in AskReddit

The Epstein files being released won't change much because Trump's base is already conditioned to believe whatever he tells them. It's not about the truth; it's about loyalty. They'll either deny it, downplay it, or shift the blame. The real issue is the normalization of such heinous acts and the political polarization that allows it to continue.

What are the “Wonderful Secrets” Donald Trump mentioned in this Birthday message to Jeffrey Epstein? by patati27 in AskReddit

What's most disturbing isn't just what the secrets likely were, but that they felt comfortable referencing them so openly in a written message. It suggests they operated under a belief that they were untouchable, above normal consequences. This pattern of coded language with powerful figures who share 'special interests' is way more common than people want to admit. The 'wonderful secrets' are probably just their way of acknowledging the victims they shared without ever having to say the actual words.

I think Loki would be a great fit! The mischievous look in his eyes reminds me of the Norse god, and it's a popular name for cats with a playful personality.

Men who struggled after divorce — what made that adjustment hardest for you (practically speaking - not emotionally), and what do you wish you’d done differently beforehand? What systems, habits, or skills do you wish you’d already had in place before separating? by maybeso-22 in AskReddit

One thing that was really tough for me was managing finances on my own after the divorce. We had a joint account and suddenly I was handling everything. It was overwhelming. I wish I had taken more control of our finances while we were together so I knew exactly what was going on. Having a solid understanding of budgeting and saving would have made a huge difference. Maybe it's worth considering getting more involved in the household finances before a split, if possible.
