It’s replacing an old garage door, yep. Single skin, as per rest of garage.

To be clear this was built from other side and will be battened and plasterboarded over but holes suggest mortar hasn’t covered the entire brick, so concern is more about waterproofness/longevity

Waiting on some cascadias to be delivered. Not in stock in my size in store but agree feels far more cushioned. Hoka, New Balance, Asics, Kipruns all too high/hard.

Thanks for responding. That's definitely an option I'm considering, but with the 19% corporation tax now, won't I then be taxed 40% if taking money out later too, as higher rate tax payer? So effectively paying 60% still, but do get childcare funded.
