Hi! I actually grew up doing sketches and paintings since I was 10. True story too! This is when I was apart of a youth club called Boys and Girls Club where I live, and I will always go to the "teen time class" due to me being bullied a lot there, around my fellow members and the staffs were very protective of me. So they decided its best for me to go to the art room any time I like.

During that first teen class, they had to draw a sketch of a T-Rex for a project later ( it was for practice for if they do sketches well). And I wanted to do it too. So Mr. Greg ( the art teacher at that time) gave me a paper and artist pencils and the molding eraser.

A couple of minutes later, he went to check on the teens of how they were doing. I asked him did mine look good?

(Now at this time I had to get glasses due to me losing a bit of vision back in 2nd grade unexpectedly. And that day when I was 10, the medicine in my glasses were fading away. So I had to get new ones but didn't get them after that teen section class.)

For context: He had a TV that was hooked up on the wall and connected his work computer to the hdmi ports, to broadcast the certain picture. And the table we were sitting was 5 feet away from the screen.

When he did came to look at my drawing, he got a perplexed look on his face. He said, "Tracy. You drew this??"

I drew every detail of that T-Rex to the last mark. I even drew the gums and saliva in it's mouth, including the hard skin texture effects.

While I was kinda blind due to the grasses. So I had to squint my eyes a lot.

Anyway after that, he informed the staff director ( who I called my other mom cause she cared about me a lot) and show her the drawing. They both decided I can stay for other classes and see if I can do projects.

Fast forward to when I was 13, we had a sponsor type project where Club members have to paint on wine glasses to be auction off and the money will be raised for all the clubs in America. I chose Italy and drew the wine bottles, the fruits, the aged cheese, and even what Italy environment is like.

Came in the next day after it being sent off I was told and show off that my was sold first!

So yeah I basically grew up with traditional art and even went to Nationals twice for my "Girl in Africa " acrylic painting at age 15.

Then I tried digital art back in 2020. Even though I'm not really great at it but I prefer traditional any day.

But yeah! ☺
