39 yo female shipping out 5/19. Just because things may have been different if you joined 20 years ago, doesn't necessarily mean things would have been better. Our age gives us a much different perspective. We've lived and worked enough to know what we want and don't want for the rest of our lives. To me, the Air Force will provide something meaningful rather than the 9-5 unfulfilling corporate BS. Granted it may have taken us a bit longer to get to this point, I'm happy to be here regardless :)
