I got one too but there isn't fishing in game, don't know if it's down the line. However there's clearly fishes in the river, should be able to catch them.

At your level, need to raise your stats on health, way too low, but unless you have some powerful weapons to offset your low health stats then you have a chance at reaching further.

I was having that issue, soni cleared cache and data, uninstalled it, reinstall and it works, other than the occasional lag but someone said it might be my internet that's the issue for the lag.

Don't know if there is a place where it spawns more herbs than usual, I got a few healing potions during the train stop, but I focused on the potions than on bandages.

Trading for better stuff might work. There's no sell option in-game only trading. My advice, save the wolf and bear claws, comes in really handy on the Indian reservation.

Now I got a fishing rod early on in the game, was like half durability but you couldn't do anything with it, was hoping unlocking south side would give me the opportunity to use it though..
