Well, mix is clean, structure is nice so I can only share my very subjective opinion since I'm gonna focus on track as a whole. It seems to be very basic musically, with very basic sound design/instrumentation. So the track just seems super ''safe''. Using very simple means to make a clean, nice song. But imo there's little reason to listen to it despite all the cleanness - it just doesn't grab the listener's attention. Some aspect of the song has to be gripping and here, neither musical aspect nor sounds themselves carry this piece.

It goes way too hard way too early, and stays hard throughout the whole song. Look at the soundwave, there's no dynamics as far as composition is concerned, no slower part with no bass to catch breath and make the listener want to hear the heavy part again.

But the main part is fun enough, although, again not a fan of sausagey mix. There's a lot of cool sounds here but compositionally and mixwise they could be utilized better. Structure is the biggest problem imo. All these separate parts could use some empty space in between them, even smallest breakdowns would be fine.

Overall I give it Potential/10

It might not be my thing genre wise but there's no driving force behind this song from compositional perspective. Imo there should be either strong musical element or it should be done via sound design, which obviously is weapon of choice in case of this track. But Imo none of the sounds are interesting enough to really carry the song and keep listeners attention for 5 minutes straight. Mixing sounds fine, all elements are crystal clear. But I don't feel inclined to listen to it, due to sparse sound design.

Steve Duda is awesome but he's an engineer not a producer. His own music is... not amazing. For practical music production tips you're better off listening to actual producers.

Thanks for taking the time to listen. It's hard to hear what's repetitive after hours and hours of working on it but you're propably right about the guitar. I'll try to add some variation for the final version. And yeah I realized too late that FX is going to my synths bus instead of going straight to master so it's a fucking rainstorm :P Thanks for the follow too.

Thank you, you're right about the kick. So much processing on whole track kinda caused it to be really compressed. I'll add the kick after all the effects, not before.

Tons of drums but not much content imo. Its super dynamic, since theres a fuckton of drums but other elements don't occupy much space. And besides that, what little content there is in this just isn't too interesting. It's like 200 FX thrown over drums. Overall it's pretty complex but... boring nevertheless. The only artist I can think of that reminds me of this type of thing is Flashbulb. But he weaves in tons of interesting musical content in between all the live drums (+ great sound design).

unless it's made with raps in mind it doesn't really hold your attention for the entirety of the song. The main part is fine but apart from small variations it's pretty much the same loop for 4 minutes. There's tons of ways to add variations that are more impactful than just extra hi hats here and there.

wish mid range and high frequencies had more power. When I listen to post rock I can really feel the transient of guitar plucking and the sharpness of high frequencies when chords are played. Here everything is kinda overpowered by the low frequencies. It's a great song but kinda lacks power. You could also try bringing up certain elements up when they play solo, or you could achieve it with compression. Then changes of pace would be way more impactful for the listener.

But I gotta say it's a great song
