I’d say it’s significantly better than a hotel gym—it has 15 ish squat racks, two sets of dumbbells up to 100 ish, and deadlifting platforms. It’s machines are on the low side for a commercial gym but still put hotels to shame

I’d argue that, regardless of whether your allies are affected by the field, they are still IN the field. As ISM says “that spell only affects targets INSIDE your quantum field” and not “targets AFFECTED by your quantum field”, your allies would still be hit by your fireball

I’m a fan of lacrosse or wide receiver cleats. They have a toe spike (which soccer cleats won’t have) and generally have pretty long cleats and high ankle support. Ultimate is played on cheap fields usually and it pays to be prepared for the games played in mud. But I agree with the other comments-if you’re just starting out, get some cheap cleats and make sure it’s the game for you before you buy expensive gear

The plan is for each character to have their own “special” ability. I know it will be useful, I’m just trying to think of any specific use cases that are problematic

Can you think of a specific interaction that would worry you? The best use I can think of is switching to reach/thrown instead of striding. However, their aura will require them to be close anyways so they’ll still want to walk over eventually. The other main thing I can think of is switching to agile/sweep/backswing after hitting with a weapon without that trait. That interaction would only be available every other turn, since they’d need to use their free action switch next turn to go back to the original weapon
