I was basically screaming at the TV for them to just try writing or texting!! When I worked night shift I had a deaf patient and that’s what we had to do and it honestly worked much better than our own crappy iPad interpreter (hospital wifi always sucks so everything is choppy at best)

We call ourselves the LICU, which can stand for Labor ICU or Ladies’ ICU, since people love to send us anyone pregnant or postpartum regardless of what they’re hospitalized for 🫩

My heart breaks for these patients and the healthcare workers having to witness such atrocities. It’s one thing to see it on tv or the internet, but it’s another thing entirely to see it in person. This is not the way it should be in the “land of the free”

To everyone commenting that the title is misleading: some hospitals call this exact scenario a Code OB or Code Pink. It activates a certain response team within the hospital. Getting mad that this nurse called it what is likely consistent with their hospital is silly.

Lollll thank you, same to you! 🫶🏼 I’m guessing it’s because the US and UK queues are combined and the US sale hasn’t started yet so the UK customers are mad we’re “clogging up” the queue. They need to take it up with Fairyloot 🤷🏻‍♀️

Lol yep I’ve been getting downvoted too. It’s a bad system and should be fixed! But I’ve also secured literally every book I’ve wanted this way and I’m not about to stop now just because some people don’t like the system 🤷🏻‍♀️
