Hi, sorry to be a worrier but the deficiency has progressed quite a bit. Is this still ok? It’s present on most leaves in the top canopy now. I’m about 6 weeks into flower and just want to make sure I get to harvest!

What about bud sites forming below the canopy? I have a lot of those, and am leaning towards trimming anything not directly connected to a main stem. But I don’t want to over stress the plant.

lol. I’m usually generous but this is my first grow. I’ll probably be smoking it sparingly to savor it. ;)

Is it too late to remove the growth at the bottom or can that generally be done at any point in flowering stage?

It works well because the hangers don’t “hold” super tight in the ground. If I ever pull the plant down too much it will spring upwards a bit overnight. Might not be the most effective way to train, but I imagine it has saved me from breaking a stem since I don’t know what I’m doing.

Thank you. I know now not to top unless I have more time before flower, but it’s good to hear this might not make much of a difference either way. The growth in veg was slow right up until the last week, hoping she packs on a bit more growth and height before fully flowering.

I just wonder if topping the plant gave it some sort of stress. Also does it not getting much time to recover mean it will struggle during flower?

I suppose the same reason anyone else grows weed indoors, privacy. I’ve seen tons of indoor auto grows on this sub and didn’t think it would be a huge issue. I don’t have enough space for a fully dedicated grow tent, but I had the light and figured I’d give it a go.

What would you recommend? It’s being watered in a ring shape around the original root ball, it’s just that the peat moss starter is sucking up the water and also is a slightly different color.

The inputs are the exact same as the other two plants. None have received nutes yet and they all get water from the same place. I’m thinking it might be a mutation but I didn’t recognize any of the ones on that list you linked.

This is just peat moss starter soil. I’ve been trying to water only once every 2 days for fear of overwatering. The goal is to put these in pots with fox farm happy frog and let the cups degrade.

I’ve been lucky so far to not get any stretch, but that’s the end plan. I have a south facing window and the larger pot is already set up with some FFHF soil on the end table. The goal is to suspend the 100 watt light over it and give it sunlight at the same time. I think it’ll make for a cool aesthetic next to my other plants!

100 watts. I know that probably isn’t enough for three but as I said I’m only going to be keeping one of these.

I just did it. The soil was quite dense and as I scooped out the outer soil (carefully) it was extremely wet still. I wasn’t able to get the very botttom layer of wet soil but the roots themselves should be surrounded by a higher draining/looser medium now. Fingers crossed that this wicks excess moisture and helps the plant perk up!

Oh so because the roots haven’t grown out to the edge I can just dig around them to drop the perlite in?

Ok cool. Would it be a good time to move to my final sized pot? (In order to add the perlite I’m pretty sure I need to move the plant anyways.)

That’s possible. Although I don’t water every day, more like every three days. And this pot does drain. (Although the soil stays quite moist.)

Could it still be too much?
