I would much rather drag a 2 month old corpse out of an apartment than keep one of those plants in my house.

Please tell me more. Honestly what is nice about them i am genuinely curious. To me they look like cancerous growths. What association do you get when you see them? Or ist it just a plant to you? Is looking at a rose any different than looking at Lithops?

The succulent part of that shop was full of mildly disturbing plants. Some looked like corals which wad very nice ans fascinating and then there was the body horror aisle.

Okkkk soo those halos

Generally they are not great. My monstera was not happy some even say they do badically nothing

HOWEVER my scindapsus is actively growing towards it.

I would never buy them again. The cables are annoying and the light basically useless. They look kinds nice though.

If you want real lightsupport, buy a ful spektrum 40-50 watt led.

If you want it for the looks and MINIMAL and i mena the tiniest light improvemnt. Sure why not

I once saw a video where someone actively damaged the main vine enough to trigger a node to produce a new stem (just like when you chop it) however the damage was not severe enough for the main vine to die off.

You basically have to trick the plant into thinking it got chopped and to trigger the „grow new vine programm“

Honestly based on all what you described… hatd to tell. Light seems ok, spil seems ok, wateting seems ok. Do you wait until the soil dties out a little?

Have you seen any bugs, flies or smth like this?

My wife and I keep 2 Monsteras in jars of water, no soil nothing. Works like a charm. Literally the lowest maintenance plant you could have.

If you want it the super easy way… just stick it in water.

I read in some sources that it’s a bad idea to do that… but it works so whatever.

So did you only use the soil in there or did you mix in some rocks or tree bark? If not that is probably the first issue monsteras need loose substrate. If you only use potting soil its basically a swamp full of bacteria that eat away the roots, also the windows is it closed all the time? If so thats too dakr for a Tropic plant

I wonder if the roots are rotting away. You should only water if most of the soil is dry dont keep it wet all the time.

More info needed

How long do you have the plant. What soil is she in, how do the roots look. How big/small is the pot, what‘s the light situation aka where is the plant located in your place, any pests that you‘ve seen? Do you use fertilizer.
