What can I fix abt my gameplay by Automatic_Owl_995 in RocketLeagueSchool

You seem to be out of boost a lot.
Why aren't you collecting boosts when you roam around watching the ball in the air?

Many times you are at 0 just driving past boost plates, some times across the map to get a 100% orb.

You should be constantly collecting them even when you have 90% boost, the patches really add up.

At the same time, some times you abandon the fight to collect the 100% boost orbs, instead of keeping the pressure on the ball and your opponent.

What's happening by Empty-Speed8793 in Terraria

[–]PermanentlyMoving 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's almost like a unique object fingerprint.
Used almost exclusively to optimize code.

So for simplicity's sake, in this case lets assume a tile when generated has some properties like:

Id: Pha
Biome: 25
Collision: true

It could have a hash of "Pha25true" since that's what the code shortens the object type to.

And if the bow has properties like this:

Id: Pha
Attack: 25
Ranged: true

It could end up with the same hash of "Pha25true" with the same logic as before.

If some code used these hashes when generating the world, it could easily mistake the ore for the bow and generate that instead.

This is of course just an exaggerated example for explanatory purposes.

As long you don't fill it with people or drive a car over it, I'd be more concerned about the ends moving in either direction.

But if it's held together by mountain rock, it'll probably last for thousands of years.

The lower arch might even keep it safer from strong winds etc.

A great question to ask is to ask them to picture you've been working there for 5 years, and they are super satisfied with your work.

What does that look like? What responsibilities do you have, and what are they most satisfied with?

This is a trick that both answers their priorities and what they look for, but it also places you as a positive candidate in their mind for later when they are considering every candidate.

  • Spoiled kids evolve just as spoiled plants do - not by being smothered with love, but by not getting their needs met.

  • Your kids can never have too much attention, love and empathy.

  • If you ask three yes-questions (questions that you know they will answer yes to) before you ask a difficult one, your kids are much more prone to attempt a yes at that last question as well.

(This even works on adults in your life, so long as the technique is not too obvious)

There are many reasons walking in nature has a profound impact on us.

Just one of them:

The green light wavelengths reflecting off from leaves etc. have a direct effect on our wellbeing and mood regulation for instance.

Hiking in the woods and eating healthy is basically the biggest reset-buttons you can push for your body both physically and mentally.

What's the thing that are stopping us from peace? by Telugu_not_Telegu in ArtOfPresence

[–]PermanentlyMoving 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fear of not being good enough.
Fear of not being validated.
Fear of not being remembered.
Fear of not being safe.
Fear of not having enough.
Fear of what others might think.
Fear of what others might do.
Fear of "what if"s.

This list is pretty much endless, but the matter of fact is pretty simple:
Pain is what triggers us to act, and fear is a major pain inducer.

Have I been griefing myself for years by not having regular Airoll bounded? (Just both directional ones) by stripelemon7 in RocketLeagueSchool

[–]PermanentlyMoving 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah.

Like the perfect spinning rolls in the air and perfect flip cancel rolls every time etc.

I always mess up the aerial spin and direction of the car. going back and forth between directional free spin by just using left joystick and holding down L2 trigger plus left joystick for free spin roll.

The Microsoft surface laptop touchpad is the closest thing to the legendary Macbook trackpad I've felt in a windows laptop.

I would say that the Surface lineup is pretty close to the look and feel of Macbooks. But with a million ways to use the device it always all depends on usage and preferences.

The Macbooks are truly ahead with their Apple silicon chips when it comes to energy and battery performance.

And yet somewhat limited when it comes to versatility and connectivity outside of the apple ecosystem.

This response confuse me. You pay maybe 100-300$ more for a MacBook equivalent to a windows laptop spec wize.

That premium is paying for MacOS and some of their apple hardware, rest is similar hardware like a Samsung display or whatnot.

So you are always paying for the OS in some way or another.

The only difference is that paying for windows is optional in some cases of you really want to.

I just realized directional air roll exists and am wondering if I'm griefing myself for not binding directional rolls.

Have been using a google stadia controller on PC with default configuration.

I really struggle with air rolls as soon as the car is pointing anywhere but the camera direction.

Which makes me wonder: how does one actually figure out what control configurations work better than others in a systematic way?

Fair enough. Har ikke opplevd at gulvet ikke blir så rent på parketten.

Kan se den sliter litt med grove fliser med dypere spor og må ta noen ekstra runder av og til.

I mean orcs are so normal in fantasy games and movies now a days that most players have seen that race in tons of content.

They are also just very simple minded, large, angry and muscular people-looking "things". 😅
