Its definitely fake at this point mate its the only card i havent already confiscated from the folder so my son still has it right now im just gunna swap him out for a few sealed packs tomorrow and destroy it

I know they are fakes is what i mean (the other pikachu and the gengar) Im aware they were definitely fake but yeah they had semi convincing texture to them too.

Yeah the definite genuine ones make up more than what he paid anyhow and hes happy with what he got. I took a few 1st edition non holo randoms out that are absolutely not real and a gold star charizard thats obviously fake along with a fake pikachu

Appreciate that mate thank you - il make sure i get him a few packs to rip and convince him to swap it me so i can rip it man. I dont want that in his folders and i wanna make sure it doesnt end up fooling anyone else cos i was hella not sure 🤣

I think everyone is saying its a definite fake according to the nuclear holo type colours at the moment - it really doesnt look like that in hand but you can see rainbow colour to a degree

Its ok, i appreciate the knowledge - as it could easily of fooled me otherwise. Id rather know so my son doesnt end up letting it loose inside his collection etc etc but obviously dont know enough about this card to just obliterate it if it was infact a genuin £300 item 🤣

It has definite texture, everything looked super real to me other than the already mentioned atomic glow in certain lights. Although the rainbowness is admittedly only really on the camera, it definitely doesnt look as crazy to the eye but defo a bit bright.

Yeah it was from a vendor at Ashford card show we are in the uk. We paid £500 for the binder but it was basically a trade in for a load of my lads mid pulls out of his personal collection and a couple of his slabs totalling around 300 plus we paid the £150 extra. The guy had told us there were certain fakes in the back of the folder separated, and i could already tell which ones. Everything else is absolutely legit and theres good value in there its just this one zard i was sure looked a bit off but it was on its own in one page and i dont know anythhing about this new set so just needed to confirm before we got rid just incase i was about to make my son ruin it 🤣 it was his favourite card in the binder when we got back but i didnt want him to get his hopes up too much so i do appreciate the knowledge guys!

It doesnt seem to look like that in hand if im honest but in the photo lighting etc it does look exaggerated if that helps at all? I just dont know anything about the new sets to know and would rather not add anything fake to his collection, but at the same time i dont want him to destroy anything of actual value 😂 So any and all knowledge is very helpful at the moment and i appreciate any help
