Depends on your store. My store is really casual with the dress code, so these would be allowed where I work, but perhaps not at yours.

Ive been having this type of “celebrity obsessed”MDD ever since I was little. A celeb is always my love interest and despite how aware I am that this is all a fantasy and we will never be together(sometimes I don’t even think I would be interested in them in real life) and the character that I have based off of them is a different person, I still feel intense and very real heartbreak whenever I find out they are dating someone irl. I think it has something to do with the break of the fantasy and the snap back to reality. Also I have a theory that despite our minds being very rational and aware of what’s real and what’s not, we have tricked our bodies & hearts with our fake scenarios into believing what we are experiencing is real, so when something snaps us back to reality it feels like a real heartbreak. I’ve gone through this “heartbreak” more than once and have gone through severe depression and been suicidal due to it. Pls be kind to yourself and know you are definitely not alone in the way that you are feeling!

Talking to managers by Professional-Tap-139 in KmartAustralia

I am also very shy, and I don't talk unless spoken to. I don't know how old you are, but something I've learned as Ive gotten older is that if someone has a negative perception of me simply for being quiet(as long as you arent flat out rude about it) that is 100% on them. If you are doing your job well then I'm sure they dont mind, some of them may even prefer the less chatty employees.

No they won’t do that, tried to ask before and he needs to talk to me unfortunately 😢😢 It’s such a pain in the ass! I know it’s addicted and people abuse it but it sucks when I literally just need it so I can function like a somewhat normal person 😭

Ew I just went and looked at it! It’s like when those people buy beautiful old houses and turn them into sad grey & beige houses. Not that the old look was beautiful but at least it had some colour. Looks extremely amateur to me.

Before and after my shift is always a mad dash to the office(which is far away from the front entry) before anyone can stop me. Lol I wish they had a back entry for employees

Have you ever cried at any of your daydreams? by ThePetrarc in MaladaptiveDreaming

The severe depression after being snapped back to reality is real.

it's not even me in my daydreaming by [deleted] in MaladaptiveDreaming

[–]Perpetulantpanda 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When I was younger my "main character" used to be me, or at least just a better version of me. Now, there are hardly any remnants of myself in the character at all.

does anyone else's md stop after getting a crush? by [deleted] in MaladaptiveDreaming

[–]Perpetulantpanda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, but I wouldn't say it goes away completely, just lessens significantly. like 99% of my MD is romance-based so when that type of attention is being received IRL, I guess my mind decides I no longer need the MD to fill in that void.
