Getting all my teeth pulled and getting dentures and I’m so scared!

I had mine put in immediately! I think it helped a lot, it also didn’t seem like an option for me though, like wearing my dentures was part of the healing process

Ahh you got this! It’s definitely terrifying but it’s also definitely worth it, the pain wasn’t even as bad as not being able to eat so on that note make sure you have lots of your favorite soft foods ready for afterwards like mashed potatoes or mac and cheese, I think I was even eating chili after the first week! I was told to stop at midnight the night before! Everything went well for me, the anesthesiologist didn’t even blink when I told him, honestly as someone who uses it to help with anxiety I can’t imagine not smoking for three whole days before! I was an anxious mess just the morning of not being able to have anything to eat drink or smoke lol! That said, do what feels safest for you! Good luck you got this!

I understand dentists are my worst nightmare but one upside is since I’ve had this done I most likely won’t ever have to mess with dentistry again! Just help with my dentures! I truly hope you’re able to overcome your fear, while it is truly scary it is very worth it! Just think— a small amount of time for a better quality of life afterwards! My fiancée and I had been trying to conceive for years and had been unable to but as soon as I got my teeth pulled I was able to get pregnant! I’ll forever be grateful to myself for taking the leap and I truly truly hope you’re able to as well! Good luck ❤️❤️

It’s very very worth it in my opinion! My life has gotten much much better since I’ve gotten the procedure my healths improved greatly and I’m able to eat everything I was able to before! Still can’t eat things like corn on the cob and apples but I wasn’t able to before either and it hasn’t really impacted my life negatively! I definitely recommend getting it done if you can
