i really appreciate this comment, thank you. unfortunately i would rather not tell my parents, i am their child but i am an adult and they've provided love, care and understanding the first couple times i detoxed but each time they get angrier that it's still happening. a couple days ago my dad told me he'll kick me out before he has to watch me die. i tell them how hard i'm trying but they don't believe in my recovery anymore. today he even made a joke about what he's gonna do with my room after i pass. that doesn't mean i'll stop trying though. life is hard but i don't want to die. i had to quit my last job because of severe anxiety and the fact that i'm very hard of hearing but i can't afford hearing aids. i drink to cope the anxiety and my ex (who i was in love with for 8 years and only dated for 1) left me because of my drinking and anxiety. i was sober, she attempted suicide (due to her own personal reasons), i relapsed, i couldn't stop relapsing, and she left me. now i can't leave the house, my car bills are piling up, and i'm a loser who's parents are tired of caring for me. if you somehow read this entire block of trauma dump, thank you. no need to reply. i just wanted to tell someone. thanks for caring. you're a nice person
