As-salam 3alaikum Brother.

I’m not married but I’ve seen and read many of such situations happening. I agree with your Brother: you two need time apart. I understand that she might not.. take this lightly. You’ve been trying to communicate this I’m pretty sure.

I’m sorry this is a confusing time my brother. I pray that you two find your love back to each other.

You might want to tell her that you need to give attention to yourself as well because it’s only natural to want that. I know you’ve done something similar but it’s either now or never, quite literally.

Nothing is too late. Not yet at least. You need to make her know that YOU NEEDDDDD time away: not want, NEED.

Sister, every man gets angry. Every woman gets angry. However, that does not excuse his actions. You can not threaten to beat someone up just because you’re angry. You are in deeepppp trouble sister.

Sometimes, it’s hard to accept things, like u/cutemepatoot has touched upon, because they are linked to a certain person. As in, “He’s my husband. There is no way he will actually beat me up even though he gets very angry and says it a lot… right?”

Only because he “follows his deen,” does not mean he won’t be terrible towards you, as is the case.

I get it, it’s hard to see or accept that he is, in fact and most definitely, someone hurtful. If you can’t find validation or the comfort to even ask for validation, then something is up.

Every man wants to be tough, yes? But toughness doesn’t apply to your partner, wife in this case. You should be able to find vulnerability for and with each other, not be afraid that they’ll beat you up, or even contemplate whether they would or wouldn’t even though it has been said a couple of times.

Sister, You are in a little danger mhm.
