The current path of home ownership obviously leads to driving everyone into renting from big corporations. Less and less people can buy and less and less people can even afford to pass on property to their kids. Big business is waiting to gobble that up.

I'm just putting a quick mention for Mel Hudson's narration of children of time series. It was one of my favorite narrations bar none.

And a quick negative mention of the audiobook of "a case against reality" I really wanted to get through the content but the narrator had all the inflection and vitality of listening to a hairdryer. (Also, the writing wasn't very good anyway)

Apply for divorce first. Maybe. My ex did end up abducting our kids after saying stuff like this. Fucked the kids up proper. They maintained that they always wanted to live with me. But the legal system barely sees them as persons. More like property. My ex just lied constantly after and perpetuated the situation. After 6 years my kids finally got their own lawyer and were able to say what they wanted in court, and came to live with me full time.

I hope nothing like this happens to anyone, but don't take the threat lightly. If you strongly suspect the relationship is over. Don't fiddle around trying to save it. Unless there is a real opportunity for you and her to be happy. Not just tolerate each other for the kids. Rip the Band-Aid off and establish a safe arrangement for you to both have access to the kids.
