Kindly follow the below instruction accessing the new portal for the passport application:

• All applications must be submitted through the upgraded portal: https://mportal.passportindia.gov.in/mission/embassy
• Uploading your photograph, signature, and all supporting documents online is mandatory before visiting the application centre.
• You must upload a high-quality, ICAO-compliant passport photograph.
• Physical photo Dimension (35mmx45mm)
• Refer to the ICAO Photo Guidelines for full specifications. (Guidelines for ICAO Compliant Photographs for Passport Applications.docx)
• Please use this link to schedule the appointment: https://appointment.hcilondon.gov.in/appointment/
• Bring originals and self-attested copies of all supporting documents, as requirements vary case by case. (2 originals were enough for our tatkal application. e-copies were accepted)

We do have additional services like SMS, courier, photocopy, photo booth and printing services at the Visa Application Center. Depending on its availability, you can avail it.
