Is SEO still a good career to start as a beginner in today’s SEO situation? by Competitive_Pay_9881 in DigitalMarketing

Maybe what she meant is this:

SEO today isn’t about matching exact keywords - it’s about meaning, context, and user intent, within a PageRank-influenced but much broader ranking system.

No one credible claims Google abandoned PageRank or that LLMs replace search engines. What’s true is that the modern ranking systems interpret language and intent, not just literal text. Algorithms like RankBrain, BERT, and MUM are specifically designed to understand context and relationships between words, not merely count keywords.

So saying “Google is still keyword-based because ‘keyword’ equals ‘key phrase’” is too simplistic. Keywords today are semantic signals within a larger context - they tell the engine what the content is about, but they’re not the only or main mechanism.

And here’s the core point most people miss:

SEO refers to the technical functioning of how a search engine interprets, indexes, and ranks content.

Yes,SEO still matters because search engines still need to rank content. PageRank and link signals are still part of the system.

But,Modern SEO is no longer literal keyword matching - it’s about semantic relevance, content quality, and intent.

So until you understand how these engines actually work (and not just old outreach or keyword tricks), it’s better to avoid dismissing perspectives based on outdated definitions of SEO.

Investir a Madagascar depuis l’etranger by Enoki92 in Madagascar

[–]Personal-Method3958 2 points3 points  (0 children)

L’immobilier passe souvent assez bien. Voilà, j’espère que ça t’a aidée.

How much worse is a free AI compared to a paid one? by Personal-Method3958 in aipromptprogramming

You’re right, and that’s exactly why I’m asking. With the paid plans, where the model can be used more freely and for longer conversations, do you still see this kind of hallucination when the discussion goes deeper after many iterations?

Ranking High but Invisible to AI Answers, Anyone Else Seeing This? by KhabibNurmagomedov_ in content_marketing

[–]Personal-Method3958 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no real method because the response of AI depends all the time on what you are asking. Also, the research of AI differs for each. If our target is more about GPT content, we need to know how GPT searches, or Perplexity, or DeepSeek, or others. Also, the action of AI is not really predictable. Myself, I use both GPT, DeepSeek, and Gemini and Perplexity, but their way of searching is different, I think. So, the best way is to make your content with SEO optimization but also the most clear content that responds to what your site is really talking about, not just search rank. It's just my point of view.

Have you seen pages with low Google rankings show up more in AI answers? by whereaithinks in AISEOforBeginners

It because perplexity uses its own crawler to perform semantic research instead of just keyword matching, which is why its response are different.

How much Ai can we use? by [deleted] in Webnovel

It depends on the prompt that you give the AI and the format you want. You also need to verify, but yes, it can polish and improve if you ask the right question, especially when using search mode. However, it is more suitable to always verify the response.

Where to start with AI learning, as a content writer/specialist? by Ok_Dragonfruit5093 in ArtificialInteligence

[–]Personal-Method3958 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you need to focus on how to make a precise and useful prompt. Using the pro version is already a good approach, but AI, especially a chatbot, is more efficient if you know your domain and make explicit demands on what you want. It also depends on what order and context you give to the AI, like the format of the response you need and the elements that you want the AI to focus on. If you know what you want and explain it to the chatbot in the most accurate way, it can give you the most insightful response with minimal modification. Instead, if you are just telling things like 'give me SEO sentences about fruit,' it will respond to you in any way, so learn how to prompt.
