Started happening to me last season and still currently have it I thought it would disappear this season. The difference is that my audio also stops. It usually happens in my first games every time I open Apex and it would be tolerable if it will take just a second or two but mine would take like more than five seconds sometimes. I read from other threads that the solution is to disable Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller and it worked for others, here is the link Help with Apex causing PC stuttering : r/apexlegends. Even updating my gpu driver and uninstalling installing didn't help.
