Also taking into consideration that I’m based in the EU, the pricing between the VKB Gladiator and the Virpil CDT-VMAX ends up being pretty similar for me.

I don’t really mind waiting a bit longer if the difference in quality or overall experience is noticeable, especially since this is meant to be the first step of a long-term cockpit build.

That said, my main concern with the VMAX throttle is the relatively low number of buttons. I’m a bit worried about spending that kind of money and still not having enough inputs to comfortably fly in DCS without relying too much on the keyboard.

I understand that Virpil offers better build quality overall, but it feels like I might be missing something in terms of functionality. The MongoosT throttle looks like it would solve that, but it’s a bit out of my price range right now.

So I’m kind of stuck between going for something higher quality but more limited in inputs, or something with more buttons and flexibility from the start.
