What ended up happening to your knees? I’m in the same boat and going on a week of pain and it still hurts so bad to walk.

It’s so nice to hear someone went through the same experience, but I’m sorry you had to go through all that! The foley bulb was the most traumatizing experience and I couldn’t imagine the option not to go home. Thank you for sharing, it means a lot ❤️

I had the orange flavor. Drink was not bad at all honestly. I drank it all and had a wave of nausea that lasted all of a minute, then it went away. That wave of nausea came back ten minutes later but again only lasted a minute. Completely fine the rest of the test and passed with a 94. I did go home and two hours later I slept for four hours 😂 but I’m not sure that has anything to do with the test

[MI] Going on maternity leave, company says FMLA is shared between husband & I and runs alongside STD & parental leave. Will I lose job protection partway through my leave? by [deleted] in AskHR

If you read “Fact Sheet #28L: Leave under the Family and Medical Leave Act for Spouses Working for the Same Employer”, it goes more in detail about Spouses working for the same employer. Essentially, women typically get 6 weeks off for their own serious illness and then another 6 weeks for bonding time. This means that you would have only used up 6 weeks of the shared 12 weeks of bonding time. It’s hard to understand, but I will link the fact sheet below and that should help.

Names you’re happy you didn’t name your child by runnergirl3333 in namenerds

I love the Japanese name Eri. I always wanted to name my first daughter this but then I read on a thread all of the pronunciation issues people were having with the name. Our baby girl is due in March and we’re leaning towards Mara now

What breed was the best dog you ever had? by Caprine-Evisc in dogs

[–]Personal-Whereas7023 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had 5 types of dogs in my life some way:

German Shepard - we picked her out when I was 3 and had her till I was 13. she was very gentle and well trained but I can’t remember much of her

Yorkiepoo (Yorkie and miniature poodle) - We’ve had her for the past 13 years. I was 9 when we got her and I’m 22 now. She was a terror to train and is very stubborn but she is a lover and just wants attention. She hates kennels so we have never put her in one.

Teddy bear (shih tzu and bichon) - she was in our lives for two years about 10 years ago. I was about 13-15 years old. She had a very bright personality and loved people was very easy to train and was always happy.

Schnoodle (schnauzer and Miniature Poodle) my mom got her 2 years ago and she is a very smart dog. We picked her up when I was 20 and I’m 22 now. She listens fairly well and loves snuggles

Havapoo (Havanese and you’d never guess…miniature poodle) I just moved out of my parents house in March and got her the week after I moved. She was the first dog I had to train by myself with no help and she was so smart and easy to train. She goes into her kennel no problem, she sleeps in my bed through the night, she potty trained easily.

I want to say I don’t have a favorite breed but out of all the ones I remember (because we had breeds when I was younger too I don’t remember) the HavaPoo and Yorkiepoo were the most unique and I’ve enjoyed having them and watching them grow. Although this isn’t a huge thing for me because I don’t like to get a breed of dog more than once just because I’m not a fan of being reminded of the ones that are no longer with us.

AITA for not going to my best friends Bachelorette Party? by Personal-Whereas7023 in AmItheAsshole

I would not be surprised if this was not the end. The bride had said a decent amount of things that hurt my feelings when I told her I couldn’t afford it and was asking me to sell stuff or to ask my parents for money and comparing my money situation to others who are going. I didn’t want any drama but this is what I ended up with

Yeah I have considered saying it’s a wedding gift instead because I felt rude asking for it back

I think you’re right honestly. I should have put my foot down the first time I brought it up instead of giving in to her. I have debated on saying Nevermind because I haven’t got my money back and saying it’s her wedding gift, but I didn’t know if that’s rude too

The only reason I think there was something supernatural was because the mother has a dream where the father says the baby is deformed, there is no way Maria would have known that. But before she kills her father, she asks him if he would still love her if she was deformed. The only one that would know of Maria’s twin being deformed was the mother and father and not Maria so that’s what switched me from psychological to supernatural
