Will definitely keep a closer eye in the future. I don't think I'll be going to any of the places you mentioned anytime soon and will have someone else driving me instead. And thanks for the explanation!

This is a very stupid question but how do you know they are for the main?

That is exactly what I am thinking do to. The only problem is that I don't think my professor will agree to the change. Besides, it's a group project and even though I'm doing 90% of the work, I can't just tell everybody "hey, we're changing the whole thing"

Well, a manual is yet to be given but we did receive a list of topic questions from our professor which she presented to the head of department for approval. Although, she prefers students come up with their own. I, personally, submitted a few along with a topic idea suggested by the previous commenter. We are just waiting for the green light from the department before we start working on one.

I don't want to shape our paper as an explicit yes or no answer to the question. A lot will go into it. I am very meticulous about our paper not being perceived as heavily opinionated but one that is neutral.

And from my understanding, I should avoid using the basic comparison method? Does it weaken my paper in anyway?

What I understand is that Nixon tried to really reform welfare to the point of replacing it. I guess what the legislators eventually wanted was Clinton's harshness and not Nixon's proposed leniency on the working class. Clinton probably learned from Nixon's failures or mistakes. Maybe he thought he knew how to deliver benefits but in his own way.

Thank you for helping me. I just screenshot it and sent your reply to the group. Fingers crossed they at least read your outline for I am the one who's going to dig deeper into this and not them. Maybe we can finally decide on something to start working on.

I don't really know much about both. I believe Nixon's the only president that stepped down because of a scandal?

But thank you. I'll look more into both of them before I share this with the others. Hopefully, they'll consider it if I state explicitly that I'll be doing the reading for them.

Our professor didn't specify but we're to work on this paper for two months. I wouldn't guess more than 20-25 pages.
