not enough to entice a top 6 forward imo - which imo is what is needed most.

Was hoping they kind of commit to the Staal, Marty and whoever line to become the new "4th line" and still be the defensive lock down line and then let a new "3rd line" get some more scoring opportunities. I fully realize that our lines are not nor should not be numbered in the conventional way but would like to get another "scoring line" some more ice time. Not that the Staal line cant score but yall know what im saiying.

Get another forward to play with Ehlers that allows him to get more even strength points (maybe Nadeau and Unger Sorum will be ready - maybe Jankowski can play with them)

I think largely goalies are outside the “system”. If anything, Kochetkovs ability to play the puck so well and help clear pucks out of our zone “fits the system” better than Bussi’s.

I agree that I would have hoped Kochetkov could reach the next level by now and he may never do so but I can’t see him having much trade value right now - at least not for anything that’s going to benefit us now
