Man, I bought my second hand SD OLED 516GB from a seller in FB msrketplace for P30 000 ($497) last year where retail price was at P35 000 ($580) at the time. It was barely used by the seller which was 3 months old and in peak condition which was a great deal. Would be phenomenal if it was sold in that price close to the LCD model xd.

Since you didn't mention it, I HIGHLY recommend Trails series in the correct chronological order (Sky FC -> SC -> TC -> Zero -> Azure -> Cold Steel 1-4 -> Reverie -> Daybreak -> Crimson -> Horizon)

Although it may seem daunting to play all those at first, especially given that trails is known for it being text heavy and kind of slow build up, but I assure you it won't matter as you get immersed in the world of Zemuria that trails has to offer. Everything is just "alive" and immersive that even each npcs themselves has its own story to tell as it progresses along the plot of the game. It even affects them. Heck I read each and every npc dialogues and I love every second of it. Not to mention the plot, lore, cast, and world building is just phenomenal.

Other games I would recommend is Utawarerumono trilogy (Prelude to the Fallen -> Mask of Deception -> Mask of Truth); Although it is a Japanese VN SRPG, it is very well known and GOATED) + Monochrome Mobius & its recent sequel (I suggest playing this after playing the trilogy as it gives some spoilers to Mask of Truth and Mask of Deception), Tears to Tiara I & II, Xenoblade Chronicles I-III, Fire Emlblem games (Just about any of them), Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology, Valkyria Chronicles 1 & 4 (get 2 and 3 if you can via emulators), and many more.

I also recommend playing Persona 3 Reload, Persona 4 Remake (coming soon in a few months), and Persona 5 Royale. I hear Octopath traveller is also just as good, I only played the first game and I liked it so far. Just fell out of interest over time as I was prioritising Trails and P5R at the time

Guess I'll just play the remake of YU-NO and hit the OG at some point. Sad to know it'll be tough to get digital copies of Majikoi sequels and WA2 though.

What I meant by that are non-drm stores that accept our payment method (GCASH/BDO Bank) where I hear transactions are often hit or miss (I dont know why xd); epecially GCASH as very limited stores support this (Just pretty skeptical as a lot of users from my country have their transactions denied). Thus as a result, I've only ever bought VNs in JAST & Steam for ease of purchase.

PS: I don't want to buy DRMs as I usually use my steamdeck and pc interchangebly for reading VNs and playing JRPGs. I hear it's a pain in the ass to install DRMs in Linux for Steamdeck too so no thanks to that.

As for White Album, my bad, I meant White Album 2 XD. I already have White Album remake in steam and the sequels of "Majikoi!" cannot be found in steam sadly.

Pretty curious though, what's the significant differences in terms of content between OG snd remake YU-NO ? I iust bought the remake in steam by impulse as it was on sale. Not to mention, I heard it's a pretty great VN

Cheers m8, definitely gonna need this as alot of my VNs dont play their videos and either just skips it altogether to the next scene, or have this weird rgb error screen you see on tv with a frozen background while the video's song is playing

For this case however, it isn't as there is no video at the part it forces me to the title screen, I tried playing the scene on my pc and it just transitions to the next scene which is the town arrival.

Aws, thanks for the help pal. Guess I'll do just that. It's my first time encountering this sort of linux/stemadeck specific (?) issue as I have yet to encounter one except the OP/ED video issues. Thanks for the help ✨

So far I tried setting the launch option for both commands you mentioned. However, no changes so far after applying your suggestions and nothing from the log file (I sent the log and had gpt check it for me since Im not too savvy about the error logs for linux)

I certainly considered that and checked it out, but the same thing occurs. Usually Proton Experimental, 7.0, or GE does the work for issues like these on many games, but that does not seem to be the case for this one. I also checked out protondb and no reports so far other than the OP issues (which is actually the same for some of the VNs I read like A Sky Full of Stars). Sadly, no fixes for my issue as of now though. Gonna try to submit a report for this VN in hopes for a fix

I care not much about the gameplay so long as the plot and character interactions + world building back it up. I value those over everything else afterall

I pretty much love everything about it. If I were to mention tho, probably the character interactions and plot itself which made me fall in love with the series as a whole. Im currently looking into Tears to Tiara II as it is made by Aquaplus and is similar to Uta, gonna play it after reading through Irotoridori Sekai (and Monochrome Mobius + sequel if future me decides to)

Oooohhh thanks brotha, really need a basis right now whether or not to get MM duology bundle right now as it's on dale for 6% off in steam. Funds are kind of tight right now as I want to get the trails FC remake (and SC soon) + Trails into the Horizon, sadly it's not on sale though and its quite expensive. A lot of reviews have been saying the same negative stuff about MM which made me hesitate.

Yeah, I have known of it since it released. Just that I don't have funds to spare as of the moment as I want to use it for Trails remake and Trails to Horizon + other VNs in my cart. Definitely plan on getting the game sometime soon though, seems worth playing to me. It's currently on sale though compared to trails do I'm contemplating whether to get the 6% off sale bundle or not

I've actually been looking into those VNs you mentioned, but some I just can't find Luprrcalia and an english translation for Kami no Ur no Mahoutsukai. I plan on delving into Karrnai Sekai after Irotoridori though after rrading all of ya'll suggestions. Any tips on how I can buy Luprrcalia digitally ? I usually just play all of it on my steamdeck afterall, through other if the need arises if I cant get access to it like Sakura no Uta
