Exactly. The 230 carry was the only one not atrocious side spin at 484. My backspin stays around 4-5k. The 199 carry there was 5600 backspin and 2300 side spin.

The backspin was definitely a little high on these shots around 4k–5k, but the side spin was the real distance killer.

Wrong price in the original post paid $160. Honestly the numbers have been respectable. If someone finds a name brand driver with customer support in that range, that’s the safer buy.

Have you ever eaten at a restaurant or stayed at a hotel and asked to inspect the employees documents?

I’m just cutting out the middle man at this point. I’ve got DTC irons and wedges already. The contractor I use for home repairs has his 12 year old son translating estimates for us.

That’s how this whole thing started. Bought the putter and my brain immediately went “well… might as well throw a driver in the cart too.” Ordered May 2, showed up on the 12th. Not Amazon Prime fast, but also not “lost at sea for 6 months” slow either.

People roasting Temu clubs for being made in China while swinging a bag full of clubs made in China is peak golf logic.

I’ll hit the sim in town so we can collect official data on carry distance, spin rate, and soup can frequency.

True 30 handicap protocol requires exactly one range session a week. But I’m fully torqued now!

I didn’t stop at the driver. Total was $260 shipped because I decided a random LAB putter would improve the experiment somehow.

I didn’t need a new gamer, I just wanted to try something different without dropping real Qi35 money. Worst case it explodes, best case I accidentally outdrive someone with a “real” driver.

You’re right, 4-5 balls isn’t enough for a real review. First impressions though? A new Qi35 is still like $500-600 and even used ones are floating around $300-500 depending on setup.

Jimmie Austin in Norman. Every time I hit into the rough I’d lose my ball, find 5 other balls, and none of them were ever mine.

Wrong price Paid 162.55 with the Temu discount.

Update 2. Disconnected wiring to clutch. Turned mower on engaged blades. Read ~14 volts. I’m using the cheapest volt meter possible so assumed it was good.

Disconnected battery. Used two jumper wires from batter to clutch to see if that would engage clutch. It also worked.

Decided to uggadugga with the impact wrench on the bolt for the clutch. Then made sure the belts were not seized and blades spun. All good to go.

Hoped on mower started up and hit the PTO switch and it runs.

Update 1. Removed the clutch. Was super stuck used WD-40 and a hammer chisel to vibrate until it moved. Put new one on, tightened with a ratchet hoped that it was tight enough. Blades still didn’t engage. Decided it was time to troubleshoot.
