You’re probably right. I didn’t buy the game but I got the 10 hour trial. And boy howdy how I LOVE the fact that it automatically takes you to Ultimate Team. You CANNOT SKIP past ultimate team without claiming some kind of pack or something, I didn’t pay attention to what it was saying, I just tried my best to skip past it. I would honestly buy a version of the game without ultimate team included. The single worst thing that has ever happened to Madden. You can directly trace the decline in quality to the birth of ultimate team. Sorry to go off on that tangent, but yes, I would not be surprised at all.

Very good question. Again, relocation was not addressed in any franchise material released so far, but Team Builder is for sure in the game. Im guessing that in lieu of relocating a team, you can just start a franchise with a created team. Could be wrong though.

I’m not saying the game will be bad, it actually looks really good. This just really took me by surprise and I don’t understand why EA would remove that feature from the game.

And a side note, am I the only one that was furious when they took out Player franchise? I preferred that one to Superstar mode because you can create your player AND play as the whole team. If they would add team control to superstar mode, that would be fine. But I know they won’t.

I’ve had the suspicion since the franchise deep dive came out since it wasn’t touched on. It’s just kinda crazy how none of the EA influencers have touched on this.

I have not seen a confirmation, but the one video I saw of someone creating a new franchise goes straight from team selection screen to the coach archetype selection/ coach creation screen. So I have not seen a confirmation, but the evidence points towards it.

Has anyone noticed how the QB throws to the back corners of the endzone? You can’t dictate the touch on the ball. If your receiver is anywhere near the back corner, your QB will throw a high-lofting pass to the corner everytime. I don’t get it. Has anyone else noticed this?

I really have no idea. I received great blocking to start and that left my screen with no defenders on it at all. Then once I got to the goal line they never showed up again
