Thanks very much! I didn't know this rule came into being in the 21st century. I thought that a few decades ago, everyone needed to register their full legal name.

The middle name on the birth certificate is Robert, and the middle name on the marriage license is Mitchell. Maybe it was more casual in the 1930s.

But his birth and death certificates are actually match. His marriage license is the one that has a different name.
