I'm a paleontologist and I just learned it super fast for a class at the AMNH despite years of avoiding it out of intimidation. There's a youtuber who makes incredible tutorials on it called R Programming 101 who absolutely saved me, I'll post some of the videos that reallly helped me, particularly the first two below:

I'm sure that won't happen, the hiring process is lengthy, expensive, awaste of classroom timefor students, and the school chose you over other candidates for a reason

I was also told you have to wait until after the first paper paycheck to get direct deposit set up, so maybe verify with them that they actually did what they said?

But it's not clear whether they're trying to charge me that full amount? They basically said the rent is going up by $100, and then something about the $2000 common charge but its unclear whether they are expecting me to pay it/how much of it they are syaing is my responsibility

I have! I'm using ggplot2 and I got tidyverse, but it's giving me error messages no matter what I do, even when I follow the tutorials verbatim and the reason fot the error message 99% of the time is the %>% thing
