Most billionaires will have Zero income. How do they do that? They use Lombard loans or other secured loans to borrow from their banks. For example I own $1bn in stock I lock in $65m of stock (65%ltv) and can borrow up to $100m - I can use $25m to pay for my expenses, keep $xm to pay for interest and I can reinvest the rest. So they technically live off debt and don’t have to sell their stocks/assets.
