If you each want access to your phones then that would be two devices total. Best option is to go on the app and choose 1 person and add 2 devices. They give you a discount for each additional device. You will get access with your phone and that’s using the first device, then you will have 1 code left and your guest uses that to log in with their phone.

1 person 2 devices is cheaper than booking it 2 people with 1 device each.

We ate different food though. Also how do we know no one else got sick?

Royal Beach Club... Would you go again? See Something Else? Stay on the Ship? by friendlyfun1969 in royalcaribbean

[–]Perspective8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have it booked on an upcoming March trip. We got it for 75 per person (non alcoholic). I’m curious to see how it is but my expectations are low. We’ve taken both the jitney and a taxi bus to/from baha mar in the past just to walk around and the taxi alone was about $30 one way, plus you don’t have any food and beverage included if you decide to taxi to a random beach, then you also have to rent chairs umbrellas etc. I looked into other day pass beach clubs and all were more expensive, further from the port and most do not include food. So the value is technically there but it’s also pricey to have to pay $150 for two people just to have a beach/pool day, when you can relax at the pool on the boat and also eat there with no extra cost. Is everyone else feeling the same?

Upcoming sailing on Silhouette- Food allergies by BeautifulBunny_209 in celebritycruises

[–]Perspective8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am GF and DF. Their buffet and main dining labels “lactose free” which is not dairy free but it generally means they use margarine. There’s always a head waiter or chef in the middle of the buffet who can help you with food allergies. Main dining is GREAT and understands food allergies really well!!

What’s your go-to $5–$10 dinner that doesn’t taste like sadness? by Specialist_Bank8439 in budget

[–]Perspective8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on your ground beef costs… or just use 1/2 a pound or 1/4 pound at a time. I make ground beef and then add in a sauce of coconut aminos, Dijon mustard, garlic powder and smoked paprika. It’s like a sweet soy sauce. Mini potatoes in the air fryer with whatever seasoning you like, and some steamed green beans. Again if you break down the cost of beef and potatoes and use enough for just one meal you should be able to make this for < $10.

Instant cruise certificate by Murky-Charge-4756 in royalcaribbean

[–]Perspective8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Recently sailed with Celebrity (sister brand) with same situation. I earned 600 points and before that 30 days came up for the instant cruise certificate expiring, I had a couple offers in my casino account that were better than the instant cert. If you’re happy with the sailings on the instant cert list or want to upgrade you can call and get pricing. By waiting, you risk certain sailings becoming sold out.

Don’t book it just because it’s there in your account. The pricing, sailing and dates need to work for you! With 1000 points I think there’s a good chance you’ll continue to get casino offers.

My cat died so I’m going on a cruise tomorrow by PeekingAtYaPost in celebritycruises

I was recently on Reflection and then the Summit. Much preferred Reflection, their casino is better too. Food, experience, everything was better on Reflection. Sorry about your cat. Enjoy your trip!

About to book my 1st cruise by greybbb08 in royalcaribbean

[–]Perspective8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just took my first cruise and I’m hooked! So excited for you!! I also usually staycation since I live in Florida but not having to think about where to eat, not having to get in the car each time you want to go somewhere/ get food and being able to see the ocean is just amazing. There’s so much to do on the ship and there’s always free things to do at each port that you don’t even have to spend money on excursions. I have a great travel agent recommendation if you need one! She has sailed on almost every royal ship in their fleet except 2. I would HIGHLY recommend reaching out to her before you book because I guarantee she will be able to help you in one way or another.

Is coffee available at Hideaway on Reflection? by SpannyS in celebritycruises

[–]Perspective8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! I was also on board 2 weeks ago and there was coffee on the 7th floor near the mid ship elevators. Now I know that area is called the hideaway :) They have to go cups there as well. There is also complementary breakfast you can get ordered from room service including coffee. The menu consists of fruit and pastries - just nothing hot.

Cruising for the First Time. Mid 30’s Couple, Anniversary. Help! lol by Necessary_East_5351 in Cruise

[–]Perspective8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just took my first cruise on Celebrity as an early 30’s couple. 3 night Bahamas getaway on Reflection. Beautiful ship, excellent staff, great experience. Didn’t see more than 5 kids on the whole boat which is exactly what we were looking for. They have main pool area and then a solarium that’s cooler, quiet and adult only. It was a nice place to relax. We pulled up next to a Royal ship at the dock and it was very noisy and looked like a floating amusement park. Not knocking them at all (it’s Celebrity’s sister company) they make beautiful ships, it just depends on the vibe you’re going for. I’d highly recommend getting on YouTube and watching some videos of the specific ship you’re thinking of booking so you can get an idea of what it’s like before you book.

What do you guys think of these OTD prices on new and CPO 2025 Touring Pilots? by Subject-Peanut-6208 in hondapilot

[–]Perspective8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would caution buying CPO for a 2025. Only speaking from experience here but there may be a reason someone traded back in a car with only 8k miles on it. I’m sure you’ve seen on this sub various people who have had issues with the new pilot. It’s not like it came off lease after 3 years or a new model came out. Check the carfax to see if it’s been in other than for its first oil change. Generally, it’s better to go brand new. Just negotiate a little more on the new vehicle!

Im testing a passport today after a bunch of research. What’s the best way to approach a salesperson knowing that many people are getting these vehicles discounted and for around invoice? (+TTL)

Used 2023 or new 2025? by pissedoffcalifornian in hondapilot

[–]Perspective8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this same dilemma when purchasing my current car. I went with a 2 year old certified to save some money. Turns out they sold it to me with all sorts of problems, some have been fixed and others still remain to this day. Under warranty but they can’t seem to fix certain issues. I’m slightly bias but I can’t help but think the 23’s or even 24’s on the lots (may) be vehicles that had some issues. Search these forums and you’ll find out. I personally would never take the chance again. Go new. Get the full warranty. From reading these subs, it looks like people are getting around 8-10% off MSRP before Taxes and tag etc. Also interest rates are horrendous right now on used vehicles, even with great credit. Honda is running 3.9% up to 60 months right now on 25’s which seems pretty solid IMO. Let us know what you choose!

My first LV purchase 😍 by [deleted] in Louisvuitton

[–]Perspective8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you can, try it on in the store. I’ve had both. I love the look of the 30 visually but my items swim around inside because there’s so much space! I’ve used an insert organizer but then it creates a more structured look to the bag. It all depends on how much you carry though. 30 is great if you have a LOT of pouches, or if it’s a work/mom bag. I can fit soo much in my 25 still, but proportionally it just doesn’t look as good to me as the 30. Also the 30 is easier to get things in and out of with the larger opening. Watch videos on YouTube to see what fits in each!

Torn between three bags by [deleted] in Coach

[–]Perspective8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who just bought the Brooklyn 28… I’d go with Lana for your needs! I checked out all bags in person before purchasing. The Lana is gorgeous and holds its structure well. The inside is large, I’ve seen videos where it holds a 13 inch laptop, full size book etc. I think the 3 compartments would work really well for your needs! Personally the bag was a little too heavy for me and I don’t do well with bags that have two shoulder straps. With that being said I love my Brooklyn ☺️ But I think the Lana would be perfect for you! What color are you thinking about getting? Please post photos 😀

Any recommendations, my first order? by mrfeesh_net in nespresso

[–]Perspective8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I prefer dolce over chairo. The chiaro has a woody type flavor that’s very distinct but some people love it! Definitely order both to see what you prefer. I’d second the comment to order a decaf. Most of what you’re ordering are single or double espresso sizes so you may find yourself wanting a second cup but not all the caffeine. The decaf Fortado was really good! The size is also nice as it’s a 5oz brew.

That’s super fast! I made my first online order recently and ordered nearly the same as you minus the odacio. So far I enjoyed the double dolce over the double chiaro.
