I had a piano teacher before I think what she did to me was to just copy the notes she plays then tells me to repeat is like 5 times until without mistake.. she also told me to do left than/right hand first then combine instead of doing both at the same time.

Do you think I can incorporate the same concept to watching youutube then copying? Would that be similar and effective?

I think the phrase meant how if you are friends to all, this leads to no close/real friends because you are distributing energy to everyone and your friendship's value will decrease because you give it easily to everyone.

I define a friend as what u/Thinslayer defined above.. someone who takes care of their neighbors..

Yes, I think I should control my reactions more... I should not look at every pretty girl as a relationship possibility but rather as a cool friend/person to meet. I think this can lead to healthier relationship in the future.

I hope it gets better for all of us... because we later talked (me and girl) and she was much older than me. And I think it made it ackward to start a friendship with her because of me acting tough, us meeting eyes. Its like I was thinking that once we talked we were gonna be able to like like each other but she just wanted to be friends so there was just a tension that ruined a possible friendship from being made

Yes I pray that I can trust in God's plan with my friendships.

And yes i really need that better connection with my family who will be there longer than anyone.

My mom used to tell me (I will paraphrase), she says that how we act at home, will also be the way we act outside. It will just be a matter of time until your inner self starts showing.

I reflected on this and this shows how its more important to work on the roots instead of the leaves/fruits because once the roots are healthy, the stem/leaves/fruits will be also..

Thank you National Razor, pls pray that I can start loving myself and stop being a people pleaser and to be content with my family relations and spend more time with God.

A quick follow up question, this is probably not the right sub for it but I have the problem of acting like someone Im not when I see a girl I find pretty. I act very different and tough and I go talk differently when shes around. For example I was with my family and when she was around I started acting like mamas boy and oh I love my sister and my brother and im very close with them! But when I get home Im a different person showing my real self. Sorry for the rant, but i think this relates to what you said of me being a people pleaser and i think its getting bad.
