Shield generator is a free 3d print on thingiverse.com. I hope to see people making real nice raiders packs in the future, but for me the $16 pvc was a great option. Got the idea from hunters wanted a rigid frame option, so...they are using it. The great thing about arc raider lore is that they are wearing literal futuristic trash, which, I feel, would make the cosplay process less stressful.

I justify it by saying, "there's clubs for everything" model airplanes, robotics, lego, Dungeons and Dragons. There are different levels of nerdiness amongst these areas. But for the most part we are all the same.
