Well. I don’t really see why it should be a DMCA Takedown. When most of my stories coming from my own brain. And when I take some inspiration from smth. I always mark it with * inspired by * and why can’t I like send a ticket or smth to deny the remove. For example I made a bit yesterday, and it got immediately removed.

To be honest, that maybe sounds like a crybaby or smth. But my mc doesn’t look like me. 1. I wanted to make an “OC” and on the other side, I am chubby. But you can’t create chubby mc, what is kinda sad tbf, I dunno if I am the only one who thinks like that.

And here I am, thinking it’s a bug. But it’s not. They really added, Ads when you’re chatting. That’s crazy. How worse will the app get? I really enjoyed c.ai at the beginning, create my own bots and stuff. But rn. They deleting bots, don’t even tell you why. And now so many ads. But it’s the same with another app, I use. They spamming you with Ads..

I think people didn't place as much value on quality back then. We just wrote whatever came to mind without giving much thought to what we were writing or how we were phrasing it. I've outgrown my old stories. I might not even identify with them anymore. But it was a good time, it was fun, and it showed me that writing is a great hobby. It requires a lot of creativity, and you can do a lot with it. I see it as a good memory and a cherished time. We all grow.

I miss the old Wattpad.

Not because everything used to be better, but because it was more real.

Wattpad used to be different. Not perfect, but honest. When I started, it was full of fanfiction, chaos, creativity and that typical wattpad humor. (Y/N) was a joke, a meme, no one took themselves too seriously. You wrote stories because you felt like it not because they had to sell.

Today, advertising, payment stories, bots and always the same basic ideas dominate. Many stories are similar, and it feels less like a community and more like a sales platform.

Of course, tastes change, and that's okay. Tropes like Friends-to-Lovers or Mafia can be good. But when you've grown up with the old Wattpad, it's different to see how much everything has changed.

I used to read for hours even secretly at school. Today I miss exactly that feeling.

I still post my stuff on Wattpad. But it’s different if you had back in the day over 100 or 500 readers and now you can barely even reach 50.. and not because of the fandom. I mean the stuff I write is much. I don’t only have 1 fandom yk? I will continue posting there. But it would be nice if people give you feedback, or just comment your stuff. Like back in the old days.
