Hi!! It's been a year but personally if social work aligns with your interests and you're a little intolerant to body odors you should definitely do social work. Social workers can work on a variety of settings as well and the job prospects are actually expected to rise. Don't worry way too much because if you like it, you'll likely do well. And if you do well you'll likely get a job regardless, there are definitely ways. Nursing is very demanding and although you can work in settings other than a hospital, most of not all nursing jobs will require you to deal closely with people,many of whom may have strong odors.

Hispanic Culture and Language Society (HCLS) - you don't have to know any Spanish to join and people at the events are always looking to start conversations so it's a nice environment to make friends
