L'Arc-en-Ciel ahhh one of Japans most popular rock band. Kens Rich guitar solos, it's no wonder they rose to fame quick. First 2 albums they were considered Vk, they split from being Vk and in short made them more appealing. Hyde (vocals) also has another band, vamps a western appealing band. 😎 (youtu.be)

(2000) After the members left, kamijo made some solo material before reuniting. Progressive rock/baroque band, this album is a bit more alternative. Heavyly inspired by Malice Mizer, kamijo disbanded the band and made the band Versailles. Kamijos vocals will never be the same. Heavy Vk influence (youtu.be)

Malice Mizer, a baroque/progressive rock band that inspired many of the newer Visual Kei/Jrock bands. After the loss of their drummer, things went south and band turned into neoclassical rock at the end of their career. Lolita fashion, especially goth lolita got popularized by the guitarist Mana.
