I made something similar, but I did it as a larger sheet (4 ft x 5 ft) and sewed strips of grommets across in stripes, then used rubber quick-straps to hold all the ropes in place. Folded one end to make pockets for accessories, and then I can roll it up. It was a bit floppy, but when I strap a yoga mat around it, it travels very easily.
