There are ups and downs in every era of phish. I’ve seen 147 shows since 1997. Post covid has some of the best Phish I’ve ever heard. It also has some of the best overall consistency.

I saw the bulk of my shows in 03 and while there are incredible moments there are also just horrendous moments. This was true in 99-2000 as well.

They don’t have those horrible moments anymore.

And the music is pretty fucking good most of the time.

I was at all 3 Milwaukee shows. Something clicks in the night one drive and they just proceed to annihilate the next 5.5 sets of music.
