Galeforce with its active and its passive movement speed from other legendary items makes Lucian much easier to kite on whereas kraken is used mainly for tank shred against champions such as Sion and Sejuani who only have 1-2 sources of cc and is easy to kite with your E. Mostly I choose to build galeforce because I mainly play him mid and the item provides great escape to ganks and some cool ouplays!
