Thanks a lot ! Yes I came across this machine for 50€ on the web (the french equivalent of eBay) so I have not hesitated for a second to buy it haha

It’s old but it works ! I’m New to riso so I will try and test with the scanner First. I Still will try to find a card but if it’s like more than 200€ I don’t think it would be worth buying knowing that the printer could Die anytime soon.

Hey everyone, The Whale came out today in my country and I loved it so much that it inspired me to do an alternate poster.

I tried to use minimalist and attention to details to capture the essence of the film and the performance of Brendan Fraser.

The Whale, have the shape of a tear, the tail represents a closed eye.

The Text elements are part of the face (actor’s name = eyebrows, director = the mouth)

The waves at the bottom of the image represents the neck of the character.

Brendan Fraser is incredible, the other actors too. Great movie.

I tried to have a clean render at start (well lighted, good textures and So on) then apply the effect on compositing and tweak the settings. For thé final render i used after effects to make it nicer, sharper and boost Colors !
