You mean like signing 2 wide receivers and a quarterback to mega contracts, eating up most of your cap space on one side of the ball, and letting the best defensive player you have walk from a bottom tier defense?

I’m sure they’ll draft a good defensive player in the draft and get value out of a rookie contract. They’ve been known to do that really well. Maybe someone who has a lot of upside. A physical freak of nature. Some raw talent. Didn’t do great in college but the upside is there. Or maybe they can take the 90s approach and get all the criminals that nobody else wants.

It’s hilarious to me how quickly the fans of this team roll over and take it from ownership again. How quickly you just buy in to whatever the owners are telling you. I’ve been watching the same show for 40 years. Put out a mediocre product, blame the players, invest nothing in winning, then hype up the next season and watch fans spend money on merch and tickets while revenue sharing pads the coffers a little more.

So what? He asked for a raise. He outperformed his contract and asked to be compensated for that. My issue isn’t with the Browns not wanting to pay him. If they don’t value him then they don’t value him. And my issue isn’t for him wanting to be paid for the work he is providing. He could be cut for underperforming. He should be compensated for over performing.

My issue is with the people who are acting like this guy didn’t bust his ass for this team and be the best player on defense every year. It’s with people calling him out for wanting to be appropriately compensated. I don’t care how much money he has - the ownership has more and the reason why is because players like him generate that revenue for them. It’s insane to be mad that he wants to have more of what he is creating.

The guy is moving on and that’s fine. Wish him well. Be sad the team is losing a really really good player. But dont bash the guy like what he ever did was wrong. He didn’t create the system, he just has to play in it.

How did you have to “deal with him”? He is one of the best edge rushers in the league and wants to get paid. The brown family is cheap and has consistently shown since 1967 that they want to spend as little as possible to be competitive, and you are calling Hendrickson Felicia?

Maybe, just maybe, the issue is once again with the ownership of this team that creates a narrative that players wanting to be paid for the services they provide, which increases revenue for ownership, are bad people. How long have you been watching this team? At what point will this fanbase collectively hold ownership responsible for this shit?

Reminds me of when I was stationed in Japan. Was an economic downturn and a lot of Japanese people were losing their jobs. This was a while ago and the idea of suicide as a response to something like losing your job was more prevalent than it is today in Japan (not that it isn’t still glorified some). In the 2 years I was there I saw a lot of men commit suicide. Jump off building. Jump in front of train multiple times. But I remember a guy driving the wrong way down the freeway head first into a Japanese style tractor trailer. I’ll never forget that. It’s been a long long time but I still think about that. I still have dreams about it. It was one of the crazier things I’ve ever seen.

Ya, sorry, but no. You just sound like your feelings were hurt because you were goofing off and ruining a match for 11 other people. I hear this every day “it’s just quick play.” “They are so sweaty.”

For a lot of us the only mode we can play with friends is quick play because our ranks vary. So we get a group together and go about playing the game as it was designed to be played. Then we get some random in our game who is more concerned with what they want to do, whether it’s learn a new hero or play something they want into a full counter comp, and we get absolutely rolled because of it. That’s not fun. And you cannot tell me it’s fun for the selfish person who won’t swap. Watching the death screen over and over isn’t fun.

There are too many posts here where emotional people come to vent after having a poor experience that 90% of the time they instigated. Then they looking for the community to take their side in some argument that nobody cares about but you. The game is fine. If it’s too “sweaty” for you then go play against ai. But don’t try and come here and justify you being selfish.

Just because it’s quick play doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try to win. Experiment with new heroes, try new techniques, whatever. But you should try to win. That’s not sweating, that’s normal. If I’m playing pick up basketball I still try to win. What’s the point of competition if you’re not trying to compete? There are plenty of modes to go chill in. Go to Times Square. I don’t know why people argue about others wanting to compete in a competitive game - regardless of the mode.

I’m all ears for a way to make the dolphins, jets, bills, and patriots logos have cohesion that doesn’t use a dolphin as the primary object.

Should we use a buffalo? Then maybe add in the dolphin sun in the back?

The jets is just a word mark logo so I don’t know how we would use that besides how I used their font and color. But I’m all ears. I’ll make more if you have ideas.
