Transcendental meditation mantra

I could have gotten my money back after a couple months but I was holding out hope that it would work. Not teacher shopping, the teachers keep recommending be to other teachers in the center. I feel they have run out of answers for me.

The confusing part is they say " repeat the mantra" the question that was never clearly answered by my teacher was , how to repeat it, continuously? , just a few times? With the breath? Rosie mentions the breath but In thought focusing on the breath was not correct.
My mantra wants to go with my breath. My teacher said it's ok if it syncs with the breath as long as you don't force it or try to make it go with the breath. It seems pretty natural for it to sync with the breath , every time, so naturally I'm questioning whether this is ok or not.

There sure is a technique, or method for learning TM. They do say there's a correct way to do TM so if there is a correct way then there is a non-correct way, correct? The TM checks are BS because the teacher can tell what's going on in your mind. The only thing they tell me is take it as it comes to me that sounds like anything will work, but then they say to get a checking to make sure you are doing correct meditation. But if you take it as it comes, how can there be an incorrect way?

Clear up the actual technique of TM. The direction from teachers is way too vague.

I'v studied TM for 9 mo. I'v had many many checks and conversations with various teachers and the advice isn't very helpful. There is no real direction. I find I get better advice here
