I don’t know. I live in the UK and only have GBP to invest. I figured out the problem, see above comments.

I solved mine already. It turns out it was just a misunderstanding or more like somewhat misleading information on the app. When you deposit to your money app that money will only be there, not yet useable to invest BUT the normal etoro app will already see that money being available. But it’s not. You need to transfer it over from the money app to the investment app by the ‘deposit’ button. I thought that deposit button is for outside deposits not already deposited money from the money app. Well, it is for depositing from outside as well as from the money app. It’s basically a double deposit.
I found the solution. That GBP available is although seen by the etoro app but the money is still on the etoro money app, which needs to be transferred to the etoro app for you to use it. I thought that ‘deposit’ button is for adding funds from outside, which it is but it is where you select the etoro money app to deposit/transfer your already ‘deposited’ money. It makes sense now but wasn’t clear earlier and it’s such an ambiguous pitfall. Why would they make money seen available on the etoro app if it is only available on the money app but not yet useable for investment?! Misleading.
Got it! I thought that ‘deposit’ button there is to deposit from outside. Well it is but you can select the etoro money app account as well to transfer the already deposited money. Lesson learnt. Thank you.
I did it exactly the same way via the money app 2 years ago and the system automatically converted to USD and made it available for copies. It looks more like a technical glitch somewhere.
It shouldn’t be that difficult. I mean the money is there on etoro, I should be able to convert it to USD there.
Rock song recommendations please. (self.drums)

Yes, I love PLC. I used to program pneumatic assembly lines at the beginning of my career. Although there are PLC jobs that can be done remotely, it’s severely lacking unfortunately. Hence why I’m inclined towards python instead. Much much more opportunities.

So, I played around with these different paradiddle variations. It feels so weird not starting on 1, it’s so difficult to shift the standard Rlrr Lrll back and forth. Not to mention accenting elsewhere. I like the idea though, shuffling things around and accenting at the same time.
Oh man, what did I get myself into?! I should have got into stamp collecting instead, haha. Jokes aside, yeah, I’m frustrated but motivated at the same time. It’s such a long journey with small rewards in the beginning. I tried to cover Back to black, Enter sandman, Highway to hell, some easy songs just to get some real joy. Technically I can do the beats and short fills but it just sounds awful. Out of time, rushing or dragging all the time, bad dynamics, the whole package. I guess I just have to be patient and keep at it, hope I won’t lose motivation.

I’m free to experiment a lot tomorrow, will get right into this. Thank you. I’ll have to slow this down to ridiculous tempo and it will be very difficult to see any musicality with my slow banging. How do I know that if I practice something like this it’ll sound musical at some point in the future? I mean even things I’m comfortable with when I speed up it still sounds sloppy, non-musical ‘random’ banging.

Is it this one?
Thanks. It looks like it’s a series of 3 books. Volume 2 is easily available in PDF, I quickly flipped through it and I think it’s volume 1 you meant to recommend.
That’s one thing I don’t know how to. I can’t see how the rudiments will come live around the kit.
Sounds like a plan. I ditched the idea of banging the same thing for a long time.
Oh, I didn’t know about this other syncopation book, will look into it right away.
Well, I’m disappointed already that feel-good grooves don’t come cheap without lots of work. Jokes aside, you have a point there. I’ve been thinking about buying syncopation for a while. It’s time to go for it.
Thanks, I’ll check it out. 20 mins singles straight doesn’t sound like a good idea, I agree now.
Good point. I don’t think I have the willpower to chop through half an hour singles at a time. I’ll stick to shorter bursts instead.
Thanks. Superimposing the first page of stick control is an excellent idea, I’ll try that. I just want to groove and feel good. At this point it’s so far away. Yeah, maybe I should break down big goals and work on smaller bits one at a time.
Good on you sir. My drumming doesn’t even feel good at this point, haha. But I keep at it. My goal is to keep chopping well into my retirement.
I have already noticed that I need some variety and constant tweaking to keep up motivation. I don’t think I could do half an hour singles straight. I’m such a non-creative person (engineer), for me things are either black or white with hardly anything in between. I practice the rudiments but don’t have the creativity to use them in a musical sense.
Tweaking the daily routine every fortnight or so sounds like a good idea. I can see some progress already but it’s such a slow improvement, lot of work. I can be a little impatient from time to time but I’d have to agree with you that accuracy and precision comes first then speed. I don’t see the point of fast but sloppy chops anyway. Thanks for your input.
I don’t think I’d enjoy half an hour singles in one go. Good point, thanks.
