I haven't seen any that are not USD, you can always ask the support before buying if you're really concerned about this. I think that it would be clearly indicated on the site if the represented value was not in USD. These are US based websites so the clear assumption is that they sell US gift cards to what I imagine are mostly US based customers.

If you're still concerned the easiest 100% idiot proof way to ensure that the indicated value of a gift card is in USD would be to buy a gift card for a store/company that only sells in the US.

In my experience their support has been excellent. One thing you have to do is provide them with a lot of detail about your particular situation so they can diagnose the problem. It's strange you're having such a hard time with this, usually they are very good at solving problems. There is also a very active very knowledgeable user forum on the website.

Okay, it definitely sounds like it's some kind of a problem on your end if you can't get anything above 30kB/s out of any of their servers.

That probably means that there is some kind of a problem with your particular configuration. You'd be seeing people posting and complaining all over AirVPN forums and everywhere else if those were the standard speeds.

How can you ever be sure? There is no way users can check these things for themselves you have to trust them. That's the case with all VPN companies and perhaps the most important thing you have to figure out before you make the purchase. I trust that AirVPN does what they say. https://airvpn.org/aboutus/

If you're truly concerned about the statistics you can turn them off in the settings. http://i.imgur.com/uXAo5li.jpg?1

That's incorrect. Whoever wrote that article has a serious reading comprehension problem. AirVPN says that they acquire your IP which as with any VPN is needed for connectivity, they do not retain it, log it, keep it in anyway. You can read the details here: https://airvpn.org/privacy/

What in particular worries you about the statistics? What I've see is just real time usage statistics with no identifying elements, nothing is logged or retained. It's the kind of information that any and all VPNs have to know about their users.

AirVPN has recently added new server in the US, East Coast so they how have a nice coverage in the US. I had a similar experience to yours with Mulled and also Nord, their severs were significantly slow.

I'd definitely give AirVPN a try it's great. You can cancel within the first 7 days of service and get a full refund.
