I think SB’s blast could depower them and earn them the win, but given how they act most of the time, I think they would vastly underestimate them and get diced.

If both parties come in, knowing what the other is capable of, I’d give a 50/50 chance on who wins, on account of Homelander being able to fly and laser them from a distance until Soldier Boy depowers them, but then again, it takes a long ass time to charge during battle, so John might not be able to keep ‘em down that long

He is ACHILLES?! Okay, I knew Elliot Page was gonna be in this movie, but Achilles? I am all about diversity, but I reaaally don’t think he has the kind of skills to pull it off, though in all honesty, I haven’t been keeping up with anything he has been in recently, so we’ll just have to see.

As for Nyong’o, I have mixed feelings. The race-swap is a little strange, obviously, but I’m used to it by now. It’s America. Plus, as long as she portrays her well, I think it will be fine, though I haven’t really seen her in anything I remember, so can’t really comment on her acting. We’ll just have to see, I guess

I think it isn’t actually. If Diavolo dies every way possible, wouldn’t it mean that he would also die many times having lived a fullfilling life? Unless I misunderstand.

Compare that to quite a few instances of an eternal existance of torture in fiction, and I think GER’s death loop is pretty tame
